The Scottish Album of The Year Award, otherwise known as the ‘SAY Award’, established in 2012, is a prestigious and exciting arts prize which has a £20,000 first prize and a further 9 runner up prizes of £1,000 each.

The Longlist of 20 was announced at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut on the 1^st August. The SAY Award Longlist promotion runs from Monday 6^th August until Sunday 19^th August –  the SAYlonglist Albums of the Day will be shared on social media using #SAYlonglist18 – check out The Say Award on Twitter @SAYaward, Facebook facebook.com/SAYaward.

A public vote will run from the 20 – 22^nd August and the SAY Award shortlist will be announced on the 23^rd August. The winner will be announced at an award ceremony which will take place on Thursday 6^th September in Paisley Town Hall.
