We Come to Sing  is an eclectic selection of songs showcasing the band’s strengths especially with harmonies. The album includes new songs from Ian Walker like We Come to Sing as well as a reprise of his widely covered Hawks and Eagles along with some timeless classics like Who Knows Where the Time Goes by Sandy Denny and Dimming of the Day by Richard Thompson; all supported by some legendary veteran musicians…. John Graham (The Clydesiders, John Graham & Jim Jack), Alan Reid (Battlefield Band, Alan Reid & Rob van Sante), Stevie Lawrence (Red Hot Chilli Pipers, Rallion, Iron Horse) and Fraser Speirs (international master blues harmonica player).

Ian Walker is a seasoned, award-winning songwriter and performer whose songs have been covered worldwide (Hawks & Eagles, Some Hae Meat, Mr. Bloom and many more). With over twenty albums/songbooks, Ian has recorded with major folk labels such as Fellside Records, Cumbria and Greentrax Records, Edinburgh. His band comprises Jimmy Scott who played support on tours for America’s Ambassador of Country Music, George Hamilton 4th and, from Northern Ireland, Moe Walker who sang for many years with her band Tricycle and more recently, sang extensively home and abroad with Bruce & Walker, as well as in musical shows such as The War Show in The Netherlands
