Who should I get to design my gig poster or newspaper advert? Who is the best company to use to print my new CDs…who can I trust that can give me a really good price? Who can give me sound advice on marketing and promo of my album? These guys! They are lovely folk, and they will do an awesome job. Because they are so experienced. They get 10/10 from me!

So, Hamish Napier’s album arrived today and I have awarded myself a chufty badge. It’s as sharp as I hoped for. Music sounds great and is as intricate as the illustrations. Good on Birnam CD for nailing it on the quality front once again.

Myself and the guys in Barluath contacted Birnam CD to work with us on the release of our second album At Dawn of Day. At the same time, myself and Luc McNally contacted them about the release of our EP Headlights. Despite the slightly daunting prospect of recording and releasing an album, Martin and the team at Birnam made the experience an absolute joy. They were there to give advice when it was needed and were thoroughly reliable throughout the process. They have a slogan “Be Seen Be Heard” and that is exactly what they do. I would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to release their own music.
